"Head Start Sessions are divided into two levels: Headstart Jr. for absolute beginners aged nine and under, and Headstart 9+ for older kids learning the basics of chess. You may sign up for a Half Day (9am-12pm, or 1-4pm) Unlimited Daily Sessions, Unlimited Weekly Sessions or Unlimited for rest of Summer 2020 (ends 9.18.2020) Please see the schedule below for details!
Always live instruction, participants enjoy an animated curriculum that covers every element of introduction to the game, in a fun Chess NYC way! Each session begins "on the hour" and runs for 50 minutes, leaving a 10 minute break (but no one leaves!). The platform performs! let's learn & play! Participants usually sign up for a week or two of sessions before being moved up to the next level!!"
