Chess NYC is now accepting registration for our famous FUN “After-School Groups” for 2024-25 (can you believe it?). Grouped by skill level and age, children will grow through sections beginning with Head Start™ for absolute beginnings, Advancing (planning a game), and GM Inspired tactics™ (diabolical). All levels will emphasize the fun and sport of the game. Promotions within sections will automatically occur during the semester but the schedule remains the same.
HEAD START
PROGRAMS™
Students will play several variations of “sub-games” of Chess: Pawn Football, Pawns Chase the Queen and more! 
ADVANCING IN
CHESS™
Here Players will learn opening principles, board control, attack and defense, and of course, play!
